Fawad S. Faruqi is Vice President Contracts/Project Control for ICS Arabia. In this role, Mr. Faruqi is responsible for improving the overall operational excellence and efficiency of the organization. He leads the teams internally, conducts client and stakeholders’ interactions on projects, and implements corporate governance practices.
Before joining ICS Arabia, Mr. Faruqi worked for 18 years with global financial institutions (treasury), which includes Standard Chartered Bank PLC and he was also the Head of Financial Markets Sales at Deutsche Bank AG, Pakistan. Over the years, in his previous roles, Fawad was responsible for product pitches by devising financial hedging strategies for clients through complex structured products (derivatives), and successfully hedged their foreign currency, interest rate as well as commodity derivative (crude oil, coal & copper) portfolios.
He holds an M.B.A degree from the College of Business Management, Pakistan.
